Waterfront
TDX constructed a waterfront
park along New York City's East River including a children's
play area, plazas, walkways, seating areas, and restoration
of historic Gantry Crane structures. Construction of the
park first required construction of four new steel and
timber piers into the East River, steel sheet pile retaining
walls, a new sanitary sewer, storm sewer, storm sewer outfall
into the East River, new water main distribution system,
NYNEX, Teleport and Time Warner duct systems.
