Introduction

TDX Construction Corporation (“TDX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a construction management firm with offices in Purchase and Long Island City, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through www.tdxconstruction.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

This policy covers our website only. It does not cover information we collect offline, in the course of delivering a project, or through employment, which is governed by separate internal policies.

Information We Collect

We collect information from you only when you choose to give it to us. There are four places on our site where that happens:

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, telephone number, and whatever you write in the message field.
  • Subcontractor pre-qualification questionnaire. Your business and trade name, Taxpayer Identification Number, business, mailing and delivery addresses, telephone and fax numbers, website, the name and title of a contact person, email address, trade specialties, and client references including project descriptions and contract values.
  • Careers applications. Your résumé or curriculum vitae as an uploaded PDF, and the personal information it contains — typically your name, contact details, employment history, and education.
  • Employee login. Authentication credentials for current TDX personnel accessing internal systems.

We also record certain information automatically when you visit:

  • Your IP address and the general geographic region it indicates
  • Your browser type and version, operating system, and device type
  • The pages you view, how long you stay, and the order in which you move through the site
  • The website or search term that brought you here

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form
  • To evaluate subcontractor pre-qualification submissions and maintain a roster of qualified trade partners
  • To assess job applications and, where an application progresses, to conduct the hiring process
  • To authenticate employees accessing internal systems
  • To understand how our site is used, so we can improve its content and structure
  • To protect the site against fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
  • To meet our legal, regulatory, tax, and contractual obligations

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes, we do not use it to build advertising profiles, and our site carries no advertising or retargeting technology.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only where it is necessary, and only with:

  • Service providers who host our website, deliver our email, or provide IT support — bound by contract to use it only on our behalf
  • Analytics providers, who receive pseudonymous usage data only — never the information you type into our forms
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, insurance — as relevant to a particular matter
  • Project owners and clients, where a project agreement or public procurement rule requires us to share subcontractor pre-qualification information
  • Public authorities, where we are legally compelled to do so

Cookies & Analytics

A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device to recognise your browser or remember something about your visit. We use two kinds:

  • Essential cookies keep the site working and secure — handling your session, letting forms submit, and screening for malicious traffic. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. We use Google Analytics for this.

Google Analytics gives us aggregate information — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, what device they use. It does not tell us who you are, and information you submit through our forms is never passed to Google. Google acts as our service provider and is contractually restricted to using this information on our behalf. No advertising features are enabled.

Two other parts of our site are delivered by Google: the typefaces the site uses (Google Fonts) and a shared code library that powers some interactive elements (Google Hosted Libraries). Neither sets cookies or tracks you, but because your browser requests those files directly, Google receives your IP address as part of delivering them. We list this for completeness.

Opting Out

If you would rather not be counted in our analytics, you have several options:

  • Use Google’s opt-out add-on. Google offers a free browser extension that disables Google Analytics on every site you visit, including ours. It is available from Google’s own site and is the most direct method.
  • Block cookies in your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings, either for all sites or for ours specifically. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of our site from working properly.
  • Use a privacy extension. Content-blocking extensions prevent analytics scripts from loading at all.
  • Browse privately. Using a private or incognito window prevents cookies from persisting after you close it.

How We Protect Your Information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted transmission of information submitted through our site, access controls limiting internal access to staff with a business need, and monitoring for unauthorised activity.

No method of transmitting information over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How Long We Keep It

  • Contact enquiries — for as long as we need to respond, and a reasonable period afterwards for reference
  • Subcontractor pre-qualification submissions — for the duration of the trade partner relationship and for three years afterwards, or longer where project agreements or public procurement record-keeping rules require it
  • Job applications — for three years from the date of application, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner
  • Server and security logs — on a short rolling basis, for diagnostics and security

Your Choices

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you may ask us to:

  • Show you what we hold from anything you submitted, and correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete it — we will, unless the law or a project agreement requires us to keep it, in which case we will tell you why
  • Withdraw your application and remove your résumé from our files

Contact us using the details below. We will acknowledge your request within a reasonable period, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

California Residents

California’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires us to tell you how we respond to browser-based privacy signals. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, because no consistent industry standard for honouring them has been adopted. If you wish to opt out of analytics, please use one of the methods described under Opting Out above — they are effective regardless of these signals.

California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets California residents ask what personal information a business has disclosed to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. TDX does not disclose personal information for direct marketing purposes. You are welcome to write to us to confirm this.

If you are a California resident and believe additional privacy rights apply to you, contact us and we will tell you what we can do.

Children

Our site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Sites

Our site links to third-party websites, including those of clients, project owners, and affiliated organisations. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top, and we will flag material changes on the site. We encourage you to check back periodically.
