The Baruch College project entailed construction of a new 15-story academic mixed-use facility on Lexington Avenue and 25th Street in Manhattan. The new facility occupies almost an entire city block with an area of over 786,000 SF, including three levels below grade. Work included demolition and removal of existing structures on site, excavation, shoring, and protection of adjacent properties. The structure includes steel and concrete construction with exterior metal cladding and stainless steel canopies.

The building houses a variety of spaces including classrooms, lecture halls, lab spaces, faculty offices, a cafeteria, a retail bookstore, a cafe, two gymnasia, a swimming pool, an auditorium, a shop, a theater, and additional performance spaces as well as two interior skylit atria.

TDX provided comprehensive pre-construction and construction phase services for this project. There were a total of 14 prime contractors on this fast track project.
