TDX Construction provided comprehensive pre-construction and construction phase management for a $52 million, 90,000 SF new building to serve as the School of Nursing for Columbia University Medical Center. The 7-story building houses a learning simulation center on two floors, as well as lecture halls, classrooms, study spaces, offices, and an event/conference center on the top floor. There is one level of parking below grade as well as surface parking adjacent to the new building.

The new School of Nursing was built next to a laboratory research building. Piles and foundations were installed immediately adjacent to existing foundations and significant measures were taken to reduce the impact of noise, vibration and dust on sensitive, ongoing research.
